Welcome to Thalia Lynn Baptist Church! We hope you take a close look and see the wonderful things happening in our Church. If you are looking for a first-time church, or for a new church, we would love for you to come and Worship with us on Sunday Mornings, and participate in a Sunday School Bible Study class. Our Wednesday nights consist of various activities for different age groups, so feel free to check those out as well. It would be our pleasure to welcome you to our church, so please come and visit with us!

Sunday July 5, 2009
This week is Mega Sunday! We have a full breakfast starting at 8:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall. The breakfast is free. (We have a donation basket but that is for the folks who have been here before. Please come and feel no obligation to put anything in if it is your first time.) Show up before 9:00 or there won't be anything left but the fruit!
This Sunday's Sermon:
"Will Others Find Us Faithful?"
It was the faithfulness of our forefathers that established this country. Our true appreciation should be found in exercising the freedoms they had won for us. One of these freedoms is to worship as we please.
That generation stood for something. They had convictions that required that they take action. They are remembered as brave people of solid character. They are examples of what we should be.
Each generation is evaluated by the succeeding one. Will the generations that follow us find us faithful? Will they say that we stood up for what we believed? Will we be found brave? Will we be said to have had convictions rather than mere preferences? Will we be said to have stood for anything after we are gone? Will we be examples that others will want to emulate?
That's this Sunday's message. I hope to see you at either the 9:30 (Contemporary) or 11:00 (Traditional) service. Please come by the library after the worship service. I'd love to meet you.
We are next to Princess Anne High School. The best parking can be found opposite of the school. You will be closest to the Sanctuary if you will enter by the doors nearest Thalia Creek.
Our parking lot is being repaved and it a real mess. If necessary, you can park in the Princess Anne High parking lot. We will have several people greeting you as you enter the building to give directions where you will need to go.
The dress is casual.
Most of the people don't wear coats and ties in the 9:30 service. They wear blue jeans to business casual. The people in the 11:00 service are generally business casual to sport coats or suits. We are glad to have you no matter what you wear but since people ask this question frequently, I thought I would let you know. Believe me, what you wear is neither going to get you in nor keep you out of heaven. We are glad to see you just as you are.
There is no evening service tonight.
